Tutorial: Quick and Easy Flower Hair Clips

Need a quick and easy hair accessory project on a budget? Yes ... then these flower hair clips may be just the project for you.
...
To make these fun and easy hair clips I used the following supplies.

Supplies:
Fake fabric flowers of your choice in various flowers ( I got mine for $1 each at Micheal's)
Alligator clips (1 for each finished clip you plan on making ... a pack of 8 is only a few dollars at Micheal's)
Hot glue gun
Extra hot glue gun sticks
Wax paper
Foil
...
Putting it all together:
  1. Line your work surface with foil. This step keeps your work surface nice and clean ... no messy hot glue gun work stations here!
  2. Heat up your hot glue gun so that it is ready to go.
  3. Place the fake flower you want to use for the hair clip face down and remove the plastic baking so that you will be applying the hot glue and alligator straight onto the fabric flower.
  4. Tear off a 2 inch strip of wax paper and fold it into a 1 inch by 1 inch square.
  5. Place your folded wax paper square inside the alligator clip.
  6. Apply hot glue to one side of the alligator clip.
  7. Press the glued side of the alligator clip to the fabric flower while the hot glue is still hot and hold in place until glue has started to cool.
  8. Let the hot glue completely cool. Remove the wax paper. Gently remove any excess dried hot glue.
  9. Congratulate yourself on your cute new hair accessories!
...

A girl can never go wrong with flowers in her hair!
